Ashley has a broad commercial practice and accepts briefs in all areas of the law. Ashley has particular interest in Building and Construction Law, Insurance and general commercial.

Ashley was called to the Bar in 2019. In 2018, Ashley received both the Ludlows Award (awarded to the individual who receives the highest overall mark in the NSW Bar exams) and the Katrina Dawson Award (awarded annually to one woman who has passed the NSW Bar exams and is committed to starting practice at the Bar).

Prior to coming to the Bar, Ashley was the tipstaff to the Hon Justice Robert McDougall in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2014. She then worked in the commercial litigation team at TressCox Lawyers (later, HWL Ebsworth Lawyers) for over 4 years and was promoted to Senior Associate in the commercial litigation team within 2.5 years of her admission. As a solicitor, Ashley practiced across a broad range of dispute resolution matters, including Building and Construction, Insurance, Professional Negligence, Contract and commercial disputes.

Ashley works closely with instructing solicitors and in-house counsel to ensure a practical and commercial approach to dispute resolution.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Economics, both with distinction.

Michael Connor

Michael has a broad commercial practice and accepts briefs in all areas of law. Michael specialises in commercial law, corporations, insolvency, building and construction, equity and real property.

Michael was called to the Bar in 2018, after 8 years as a solicitor at DibbsBarker, Gadens and, finally, as a Senior Associate in the commercial litigation team at Macpherson Kelley. Michael has acted predominately for major banks, insurers, insolvency practitioners and publicly listed companies.

Michael takes a strategic approach to dispute resolution and works closely with instructing solicitors, experts and clients to forensically analyse and resolve complex issues in dispute.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Economics and is currently undertaking a Master of Laws at the University of Sydney.
